My profile and inventory are both set to friends only, purely because I don't want any random looking at my profile and randoms trying to add me to scam my own TF2 items away from me.
It's not really that but I don't play TF2 much so I don't know what items are worth, but my friend plays a lot and apparently he's given me some pretty desirable items. So I put it to friends only as a sort of precaution
It's just for the Killing Floor Achievement!
Your items are boring :V I got unusuals but they dont randomly target people like Rainbow Cat. Yeah i got scammers to add me but, pfft, they suck so badly.
Different people want different items, people have added to trade with me a few times and when consulted with my friend about what they were offering in return, it was something more often than not worthless. As I said, I wouldn't have known that because I don't play TF2 that often and don't know which items are rare and such. So obviously they do it as it's happened to me a few times.
