Hi Princess Osakawa! I'm not 100% sure what you're asking, but I'll try my best to answer. There are events throughout the game, many of which give you choices for how you react. Your choice will determine how those events play out.
Will we be able to create or customize at least one character in the game's campaign? Akin to Duvalier in Telepath RPG: Servants of God.
Its good you updated this thread. Lack of customization is what turned me off of the game when I tried the demo. I'll keep an eye on it now.
Just being able to change name/gender/visual options would be enough for me to buy. I'm fine with the rest being random-ish.
Edit: Finally found the rename option and its underwhelming and hard to find. Which was why I didn't think the game had it at all. Why can't you change their surname? You should be able to customize this stuff fully on hiring. I get you want it to be roleplay-ish, but that sort of thing can wait til after they join the team.
That said, another player recently suggested that I implement character customization in a style similar to XCOM 2, wherein you can create custom characters on the title screen and those characters will get sprinkled in among the proc gen recruits when you go to the recruiter in any given playthrough. I happen to like this solution a lot, so you can expect something in this vein in a future update. 🙂
I'm glad you're considering this approach as i enjoy having my own custom characters mingle with the characters the game generates. I do look forward to seeing more about it!
