Dissapointing Ending
I just got to the end of game and I am somewhat disappointed.
I will not give any spoilers, because the main point is I do not really know why it ended lol

I have won championship fight, which was easy, and than i got arrested and i do not recall why. Apparently I have slaughter some mine operation, but i have no recollection lol.
Already previously I have rescued blacksmith as a part of investigation but I couldnt even ever interview him at all. Also last week when I tried to investigate the main plot i would get answer that today you cant.

I am not sure what i did wrong, nor why did the things ended so abruptly ...
I have to also admit that it wasnt easy to follow the plot with all fights and stuff to maintain the team.

If you did what I think you did (didn't take a certain someone's BS deal before the championship), you get punished for that.

And just to clarify - if you take the BS deal it ends the same way.

Remember in the first few weeks of the game when the maharaja visited your tent and told you Praetor Nero was hunting you? There are a few different things that can trigger an ending where Nero finds and arrests you, so it's hard for me to say what caused it specifically in your case, but during the arrest scene, you can ask Praetor Nero how he found you and he'll tell you!

I double checked it - regardless of what i do ending happens like that.
If i dont take BS deal she tips me , if I do the guy who runs the arena informs on me - bc i have raised to fast - so in the future i should be loosing fights???? [/spoilers]

Getting the "good" ending isn't dependent on what you do in the arena--it's dependent on completing the main plot investigation before something happens that locks you in to a bad ending.

A question though - i have freed blacksmith and I never could even talk to him nor interrogate him ... Was it because I passed some timer?

You never talk to the blacksmith about the situation. You basically just rescue him then you forget he exists (except when you need his services).

The blacksmith doesn't have much useful information related to the investigation as such--he's basically a side objective, letting you unlock an infinite weapon repair and engraving service in town.

Update: having looked in the code, I actually think something is misplaced--it's not intended that you be immediately ratted out post-championship unless you double-crossed Ishita Svaamee. I'll get that fixed!
