Time since Telepath RPG?

Story question: How much time has passed since the end of the original Telepath RPG and the dissolution of the shadowling empire? The quests about prejudice against shadowlings makes me curious if that's still within living memory.

I just started Together in Battle after finishing Telepath Tactics Liberated last month and I was also wondering about the timeline in relation to the what happened in Telepath Tactics. I enjoyed Telepath Tactics and am really enjoying TIB so far.
