Twirl
Twirl should not make them face backward to the person who swapped with them, kind of ruins the entire point of repositioning them when they just get back attacked by ranged units.

Hey Achilles! I'm not sure I understand. Twirl doesn't change the target's facing direction, does it? If they can be backstabbed by ranged enemies after the Twirl, doesn't that mean they could have been backstabbed before the Twirl as well?

Anyway, there are a lot of uses for Twirl--here are some that come to mind!

  • moving a front-liner toward the enemy while shuffling a more fragile ally toward the rear, away from enemy melee attacks;
  • giving an effective 1-space movement boost to an ally who's 1 space short of the spot they need to be;
  • switching spaces with an enemy to claim the high ground or defensive terrain they're standing on;
  • switching spaces with an enemy to put them next to an environmental hazard so you can dunk them in;
  • switching spaces with an enemy to put them in range for other attacks by your allies;
  • switching spaces with an enemy to move them out of range of your weaker characters.

Every time I use it on someone who is lets say facing down, after someone uses twirl on them they face up leaving them open to being back stabbed by range when they were facing them before. That's why I'm confused.

I just tested it, there's definitely a bug if the targets turn is over and they're facing down, it trades with them and makes the targeted unit face up.

Got it, thanks for the report! I'll look into this. Gonna move this to the Bug Reports forum. 🙂
