Finally Beat hell mode
Took me awhile. But I got it done. It was interesting. I have mixed feelings about the difficulty of this game and how satisfying it was to beat.

I think my only complaint is I wish there was a /ff or surrender option in matches.
Sometimes, particularly early on, I can tell that the match is going to be a loss. I'd rather not play out the match for the next like 10 minutes or however long it takes.

If this is an option, I haven't found it, despite my large playtime.

I recall it was bottom left -> view info tab -> bottom right corner.

Does not seem to appear early of match, not exactly sure when it pops up, but it's usually there midway ish .
im currently struggling with Hell mode in League 1. Its just not fun anymore since most of my attacks in the battles just dont hit. Yes i know, wrong training, Would take any advice if im doing something wrong or if that is the normal experience on that mode?
I understand i can always just stay in the league for one season and get stronger, its more about that im not having much fun currently and before i change the settings, i would like some advice.

Your experience is like mine. I don't think hell mode is gonna be fun for anyone unless they like pain. It's comparable to playing the hardest mode on Warhammer Total War in that it almost requires you to be pretty cheesey to win a good amount of the time.

Staying in a league or even being demoted is almost a requirement. I made it all the way to P league straight through and even made it to the play off finals but the stat difference was so large the only chance of wining the playoffs if I reloaded each game and played it 25+ times each looking for that perfect game.

One of the Easiest ways to win in hell is to use Bart+Blocker every chance you get. You use blocker to pull Barts Cards and metal fatigue + push lane ever opportunity you have. This could be less effective in certain metas but I still think its super strong regardless.

In hell mode initiate cards and fighting in general should be avoided. You'll win a lot more games on the field. So building your teams accordingly is key. Prioritize heroes that have more field interactions, Specifially pushing or tower damage is great.

Denying certain Heroes to the enemy is also key. I NEVER let them have Hakuna. And generally try to get rid of tanks or any heroes that have High mobility with built in initiate cards. (also Kamatchi)

I don't think you're gonna have fun. I don't think how hell mode is designed is fun. It's just pain. I'm glad I beat it but it left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth about the game. The other difficulties didn't really seem that hard. Hell mode required a certain level of cheese just to compete. Its very strange. I love the game but also kind of don't like it at the same time now.
Thanks for your answer! It kinda calms me that i m not doing something fundamentely wrong and that the situation is usual.

You describe my situation perfectly, im playing only through push, getting turrets down quick and then use push cards or other field attack cards to end the game. Or drafting a strong 5 v 5 combo with Niels. and Fatty works very good in my experience. But is this fun? For me..no.

Before i went up to L1 i was very close, if not better in some positions, than the team i promoted with. Then suddenly they have close to 10-20 Points more in some positions. The Strongest team has close to 100 Points more overall. I have no problem with losing, but as you said, the way i lose just feels very bad.

Again, thanks for taking the time to answer!
I think

I still think this game was worth the money. I am now of the opinion all the fun you have is in that first play through. Figuring out the game is a blast. But there is no challenge once you do. Other than juiced up AI opponents that force you to cheese.

I played a lot in release, and the difference between now and then is pretty huge.
I think its the added layer of managing athletes and stat decay that wasn't there initially as I had a Hell attempt that seemed pretty easy compared to now.

I just got to the play offs on my first try with this new save.
However I lost nearly all my matches to begin with and it wasn't until new heros became available that I started winning (I also unlocked scrims as soon as it poped up)

Then I hit a win streak with the second half and made it into 6th place.
One game In the ladder half I did lose came out of no where, I was consistently team killing and had taken the 3 turrets I needed for a close out. But the enemy, in two turns while I was waiting for my next, got their 3 turrets to close out the game and killed all but two people before hitting me with the close out the game card. Nothing I could of done about it.

I thin the lack of control is kinda what hits the "Not fun" feeling. Its different when you can point out your mistakes and know you need to make better calls or decisions.

I'm still enjoying the hell run, but its its also still early but it deff has its moments and a lot of times the option to forfeit the game hasn't appeared at all for me on this run which is annoying when you know you cant win a situation.
