The only other thing she can do is set up an alarm, and once that alarm hits, she will tell you. But other than that yeah, do not expect too much.
You CAN get new models and animations in the workshop made by others (Or create your own), but the community is pretty much dead and the animations are INCREDIBLY limited, not to mention that uploading your own models is pretty hard since you have to convert them to unity models, and its impossible to make your own animations unless you live in Japan (since the code that you need to upload motions into this specific game is only obtainable through a website that needs a Japanese phone number)
To make a long story short: I would not expect much from this game if I were you
