Quality of Life request thread
In the aircraft loadout dropdown show max flight range with that loadout.
Allow players to choose the type of bombing run. level bombing / dive bomb / toss bomb
Make it possible to combine or split formations with only a few clicks.
Make orders to the formation leader behave the same as orders to the members.
Make it easier to give orders to the whole formation, currently its time consuming to reach under many submenus.
Make aircraft land on carriers faster and more efficiently.

In encyclopedia:
Show submarine max depth.
Show service entry and retirement dates for everything.
Show if the object is fictional / historical / historical but canceled.
Show if the object is added or modified by a mod.
Give more info about ecm and jammers.
Show loadouts for aircraft.

In the editor, add a copy group button.
Great suggestions so far.

I'd like to see a new unit Side option, in addition to Red, Blue, and Neutral. Keep Neutral for civilian traffic, and add an additional category for Friendly Forces, non-player controlled units that may attack targets of their own, and show up already-identified on the map.
Also in the mission editor, making the menus and dropdowns more fully-functional, like being able to use keyboard arrow keys in menus, enter text to search through vehicle types, etc.

Some kind of preview when placing ground units, so that they can be positioned properly... LIke placing the port Warehouse unit correctly along a shoreline.

Good ideas, I'd like to add on:

Domain tabs for the formation manager so that in addition to the current all-units view, players could separately view surface, submarine, air, or land units (and possibly a fifth tab for units capable of flight deck ops)

"Contact manager" window similar to the formation manager that would list active contacts using the map iconography with additional basic info like speed, heading, and altitude/depth if applicable. Possibly also with tabs to separately view unidentified/hostile/neutral/faded contacts
