im trying to move away from the bulky toggle clutches for individual gears. sure there are many sequential transmissions already up in the workshop, but i want to make my own so that i could adjust the size according to the build, but at the same time, i can't wrap my head around how theyre built.
there either aren't any tutorials on youtube, or im searching the wrong thing. either way, it would be a great help if anyone teaches how.

im basically looking how to create a transmission that is: sequential, can have 6+ gears, compact, and preferably expandable.
purpose is for creating gearboxes for formula cars, i.e., formula 1, formula vee, formula 4, and whatnot.

compact differentials will be next on my list after learning how to build transmissions
