Challenges removed, disappointed
I noticed the "danger" sign that is supposed to fall on you, and the mushroom-looking little guy that's hard to kill, don't do anything now. Makes me wonder what other challenges they have removed, and bigger question: WHY? Without the original level of challenge, it's too easy and boring.

Not all of the danger signs fall down on you. Though some do. The challenge is not knowing which one do and which don't. Do you have an example of a danger sign falling in the original which doesn't any longer in the remake? As far as I know they are supposed to be the same.

Yes, I played this enough when it first came out that I still have many of the rooms memorized decades later, and was shocked when the danger sign in a room didn't get tippy and then fall, I was always used to making sure to get it to fall but not on me, as part of solving that room. I was shocked again when a mob, not sure what it's called but it looks like a little mushroom cap that suddenly stands up and charges at you fast and takes a few hits to kill...did nothing. It stayed down on the floor like a decoration. That never happened in the original. So I was disappointed that it appears someone made a decision to nerf the difficulty level. It's not that hard a game to begin with, so doing that is a real shame.

Crystal Caves HD recognises that there is now a far higher chance that you might randomly die in real life while playing the game compared to the early 1990's when the original released. As such, the risk of random death in the game was reduced, to balance out the overall frustration experienced by players.

Hello!

We did our best to keep the game 1:1 with the original when it comes to the level design so I would kindly ask you if you can let us know which levels don't work the same way.

As Adelion said, some Danger signs don't fall, and some rocks that look like the walking rock enemies are just rocks because the game uses the same visuals for decorations and the enemy.

Again, if you can provide a level reference, we can double-check, but again, we didn't remove or change anything like that in the HD version.
