I'm interested to hear more detailed feedback on what could be better. Were specific actions not working, or was the configuration not ideal, or both? Thanks for the feedback!

picking stuff up kind of a pain maybe I didn't see the layout of buttons all I should have to do is hold down the back trigger when trying to pick something up and when I let go of the trigger the item should fall to the ground. which would feel a lot more natural to not valve index players as obviously picking stuff up with your hand would work better for that device

I also wanted to apologise for refunding the game I'm on 100% going to buy it again when more things are fleshed out from what I played is promising

No worries, I hope you give it a try again!

There are two actions to hold items. You can:

'grab' which acts like you describe. Hold down and the item is in your hand. Let go and the item drops. This is useful for items that you want to temporarily move around.

'pickup' which acts like a toggle. Press it and release to pick up an item. Press and release it again to drop it. This is useful for tools that you want to keep in your hand.

As with any SteamVR application, you can edit the bindings yourself and make a custom setup if the default bindings do not suit you.

Thanks for giving it a shot!

Working from a Cosmos, I think it might be handy if default hands didn't interact with things. I often knocked over stuff when releasing a grab simply because tracking was buggy. That may be solved with lighthouse.

Game works great for touch controllers- not sure what OP means.
