Help nailing squarely?

I just learned about people using the large maps to make houses and thought I would give it a try, however I just discovered that I apparently cannot nail square for love nor money, was wondering how other people did it, I can make 4 right angles have 5 sides.

There is a 1 foot grid on the ground in the outdoor environment. You can use that to help square up large parts. I've also seen people spawn a sheet of plywood to use as a square jig.

The problem with the grid is that I am unable to effectivly bend and there is no crouch function, Im pretty much stuck to using the work bench, but I will look into making a jig.
