Blurred graphics?
Does anyone else have issues with blur during the game? I find everything really fuzzy and hard to focus on, I am confident its not an issue with my system or headset as it looks perfectly fine for everything else I am playing, and I know I have it adjusted correctly, is there some setting I can use to make this clearer?

What headset are you using?

And also, has it always been that way, or did it recently start happening for you?

Valve index, and Ive not played for a while so Im not sure, but I think its always been this way.

Do you mind posting a screen shot, if you can get one that shows the blurriness? I don't have an Index available for testing.

ok, link to imgur here, I just took a load of screenshots doing some sawing and nailing while ordering some stuff and looking around to try to get a clearer view of whats happening, I hope these show it, they look like they do, I think it might be something to do with font size, the posters are easier to read for me than something like the clip board.

edit, added actually working link.

Those pics look like how it looks on my headset, so I'm thinking the font size just isn't large enough for some users.

I can read the text okay on my Vive (1080x1200) and Rift S (1280x1440) but I have to bring the text pretty close to my face.

The Index is 1440x1600 so it should be a bit clearer on there. I wonder if there could be some other issues going on though.

If you go into your SteamVR settings for vrkshop, you verify if the resolution is set to "auto"? If so, SteamVR should pick a resolution based on your GPU. You could try playing with a multiplier value and seeing if it makes a difference. If you do, let me know if that helps.

Ok so jacking up the resolution causes major lag, at 200% everything is perfectly readable, but theres noticable delay, 120% is a good compromise, everything isnt totally blurry and the lag isnt so bad so it only really happens when I move.

Okay, I'm glad that helps a little bit. I will try to figure out a way to make the text more dynamic and have an adjustment option for text size.

Do you mind sharing your GPU and CPU specs?

I use the Valve Index and yes, this game blurs severely worse than any other game I've played. Cranking up the resolution only helps slightly, it seems like it's more an issue of rendering than the normal blur. I'm using an Nvidia RTX 3070.

I've not had the chance to play on newer generation nvidia cards, so I'm curious if it could be something due to that. Hmm.

It honestly feels like there's a depth of field that's set 2 inches away from my face. All other games are clear as can be but this one has a noticeable blur from anywhere not close-up. I haven't seen any ingame graphics options I could tweak outside the default steamvr render quality options. Though the pc view has no such blur, so idk.

If you have the time to help me test, I wouldn't mind making a few test builds for you to compare to see if I can pin down the issue. It may be a post processing effect causing issues on your hardware. I'll send you a PM.
