Report a translation problem
Put the small miter box into the table vise by clamping the lower lip of the miter box in the jaws. Then lay the board face down on the "shelf" of the miter box. Using the 45 degree slot on the end of the miter box, hover your saw blade near the slot until it engages. Move the saw down to the wood, and when close press and hold the 'interact' button to engage the saw. Saw through the board like normal. While the saw is engaged, the wood should remain still and not move unless being hit by something else.
I'm actually creating separate clamps for the next update which would definitely help keep things in place better for these types of intricate cuts.
Let me know if that did or didn't help.
Try flipping the miter box around (180 degrees about a vertical axis) so that the "shelf" of the miter box is laying on the workbench.
There's no way to slide the handle through, but that'd be pretty slick.
