Im at the 5th stage or which ever is after the "+" that you build. I understood how to do it but how do you get perfect lengths and perfect 45 degrees angle ?

It's a game and not a CAD system. From the tagline:

"vrkshop is a VR woodworking game. You are challenged to build projects with hand tools without snap-to-guides or limits on how to cut or fasten the lumber. The precision of your project is left entirely up to you."

That said, I plan on adding some tools (clamps, vises, miter boxes) to help you achieve straighter cuts in the relatively near future.

As an alternative/addition to adding clamps, would it be possible to allow me to nail wood to the workbench? I tried and failed to set up a DIY clamp by nailing scrap wood down each side of the piece I wanted to hold in place.
