Black Screen After Hitting Begin?
Hey there,

Love the idea of this so far I unfortunately haven't really been able to experience it too much though :(. Every time after I hit begin on the second project I'm stuck on a black loading screen with my Oculus boundary being the only thing visible in my view.

Hitting resume on the first mission works and loads instantly, but free play and the second challenge seem to take longer than what would be considered normal (haven't let it run more than a minute before restarting the game).

Am I just being way too impatient or is this an actual issue I'm experiencing?

As I said earlier, love the mechanics/idea from what I've done so far and looking forward to playing more.

Hey, no, this should not be happening or take this long. My first guess is it sounds like a problem with your save files. Try going to your Windows user directory and deleting the file in the game folder.

The path should be something like this: C: => Users => [user] => AppData => LocalLow => ScopatGames => vrkshop

Copy all the files there to your desktop to back them up. Just make sure the 'vrkshop' folder is empty, then restart the game.

If that doesn't work, what are your system specs?

This worked! after reloading the game a second time it reverted back to the black screen, but it looks like the issue was with my guardian and where I was being spawned in. I was just being spawned in outside of the actual workshop, so the view I was getting was the same as if I stuck my head through the boundary walls.

Once I teleported forward a bit I was back in the workshop. Sorry for the trouble!

Ah shoot, I'm sorry that happened, but this is good feedback. I'm thinking some sort of indicator letting the player know they are outside the bounds is needed.

Also, out of curiosity, how large is your play area? I'm guessing pretty big?

It is just big enough for roomscale play, but I'm guessing the issue mainly came from my end being that where I usually play near my desk, the shape of the guardian is a bit wonky so I was probably spawned in away from the main area of the guardian . An indicator of being outside the bounds would be awesome.
