Is it supposed to only happen the first time you launch the game? Because I had it again.

We have perceived shorter delays in most computers that had the issue but anyways the game should work fine smjjames.

Hi, when i launch the game im stuck on the title screen where the cat looks out the window. Do i just have to wait too? I already reinstalled the game but when i click on continue, it justs freeze

Me I have the same problem too anytime I launch the game, the initial screen before the Cultic logo shows up freezes, and I have to wait for like minutes with white screen.

The game is completely unplayable for me. It freezes and stutters on every keyboard or mouse input for about 3 seconds. You have to keep the mouse completely still for that time since it only registers the input once the stuttering has ended. Also, I tapped out of the game when I thought it had crashed and now it doesn't return to fullscreen anymore but remains in windowed mode.

What is your system? Do you encounter similar problems with other games?

Here are my specs and no, I don't have any comparable problems with other games (neither current ones nor older).

AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Radeon RX 5700
16 GB DDR4
Windows 10 Home

It shouldn't be the case. Have you tried updating your drivers. If the problem persists you can refund. Let us know!

AMD Adrenalin actually broke itself again so I had to reinstall it, but even with the latest drivers nothing changes. It's weird, everything runs fine and smoothly as long as you don't press any keys.

Sorry to hear that Ace. Cats is a Unity game, do you encounter similar issues with other Unity based games? That might be a lead.

And you're encountering the problem in game right? Not on the startup screen?

Didn't have any issue like that with other Unity games, a few graphical glitches or flickering perhaps, but nothing like this. According to AMD Adrenalin I get 30 fps on the game on average which is what I only get on very demanding grand strategy games like Victoria 3 (and then usually only in late game). The issue I described already exists during the intro video and start up screen. When I click to skip the Cultic Games video it stutters and hangs for a few seconds and the same happens when I select New Game, Options or Quit. In any case, I'll wait and see if your next patches fix it. Don't really want to refund. On the contrary, I want to see you guys succeed so you might at some point finally finish Stygian making it the game it was supposed to be.

Can you please uninstall, erase app data and re-install the game? And thanks a lot for your supportive comments about Stygian, let's see what the future will bring :)
