This game is getting less interesting without competition of other transit company
After hundreds of hours of playing I feel this game is getting less interesting. All bus routes are profitable even if I play this game at the hardest difficulty setting. As an absolute monopolist in the game I lose my incentive to further expand my business, improve the quality of the service, and redesign bus routes. At the end of the day it is merely watching the increasing value of the funds in game.

I hope we would have some competitions in game play in the future. Either competition with other players, or competition with AI, or scripted program.

Seconded, I'm getting bored now of watching my bank balance increase.....would love some competition in the form of AI or others

I found that a good portion of the appeal of this game (and other games in the genre) was in the growing and the building. In this game, that was expanding my depot and adding more busses. Every chance I had I would buy another bus, or add more stuff to my depot.

Once the depot was at max size, and full, then the appeal of each game dropped substantially. Without the ability to build more depots in the same manner as the main depot, there was nothing left to do. I found no enjoyment from the external depots as they are currently.

Amassing a huge bank account purely for the money isn't appealing to me. I need to be doing something with that money and have something "next" to aim for.

Cheers,
Chris.
Yes, I would love a multiplayer mode to play against other players or even an AI competitor option when you start a single-player save.

I would certainly like more control over the economy so I could make it more difficult, and I wish the world would do a little more so I had to react to things even after building a profitable company...

Other bus companies would make the game more competitive especially if another company tries to run a similar service to what was already offered, like bus price wars. Also, road closures due to roadworks/accidents would mean creating diversions, and timetable changes which would add something extra to the game. Buses not being painted in seconds, instead like a couple of days would add better realism, also buses taking more realistic times in getting repaired like having a bus not available for a few days. However, adding this sort of thing would make the game run poorly, so not likely to happen. I still love the game, if things get a tad boring, then it's new save time :)

100% I agree
I dropped it when I got bored upgrading all my busses to new busses and having to wait literal game weeks before I could upgrade the next one :-/
