Improving Face Tracking Quality
Reminder:

Animaze uses a motion capture face tracker for webcams that tracks many aspects of your face, but to do so it requires good light on your face.
If that is not possible, the fall-backs are:

- Changing the advanced tracking settings
- Switching to TrueDepth iPhone tracking instead of a regular webcam (it uses an additional depth-based approach that provides more accuracy).

More details here:

Because every once in a while we get folks who remember past face tracking through rose-tinted nostalgia glasses, here is a quick reminder on how the latest Visage Technologies webcam face tracker experience currently In Animaze, compares with what Facerig had, (on default, with no tweaks/customizations):

There are many notable aspects, but the amount of speech articulation alone is enough to make the experience more believable. The difference gets even larger in Animaze's favor if using new avatars built correctly for Animaze (instead of ported ones from FaceRig), and enabling new Animaze-exclusive features, like body motion support, various procedural overrides, and advanced tracking settings.
