"Previous" Beta branch OR "What to do if there's a glitch in an update."
Hello awesome people!

Animaze receives frequent updates. Sometimes, in spite of our best efforts, there are aspects that may slip by our devs and QA, and a bug might slip into a certain release. What to do if there's an update that breaks something for you that is really tough to work with:


1. Step 1: flag it to our team either here on the forum, on Discord, or via email at support[@]animaze[.]us . Make sure to offer as many details as possible.

2. If you can't wait for the fix to be deployed, as a stop-gap solution, until the matter is fixed, you can usually switch back to the "previous" beta branch version here on Steam. That version, in general, will be the build version you were using just before the update.
When switching Steam branches, if you do a clean switch (uninstalling and deleting everything), please back up your customized avatars and settings files. https://www.animaze.us/faq/animazedesktop/navigatebranches
After the fix is confirmed and deployed, you can again switch back to the official version.
