Binding only voice activation for Chatpal ?
Hello!
I've just set up my Chatpal and it's great, but I want to be able to talk to it easily while I'm working or playing. So, I enabled the global key and set up Ctrl+Q as the shortcut.

However, since I need to use other keys, my character ends up doing random things instead of staying still. Do I need to rebind all other movement keys, or is there a way to activate just the Chatpal voice recognition without interfering with other controls?

Also, it seems impossible to rebind the quick scene hotkey, which is unfortunate. Some keyboards have simple macro keys (like mine), which automatically trigger Ctrl+1 on the G1/G2/G3 macro buttons.

Thanks for your help!

Thank you for using ChatPal!
If you want to use the standard keyboard controls as a means of control, while alt-tabbed, with Global Keys to on, then yes, you will have to rebind all the problematic keys.

Alternatively, if you know a bit of scripting/coding, you can leave Global Keys on Off, and activate Chatpal via an API call (websocket command).

There are Python samples on how to use the API on the website, in the docs section.
You could make a simple applet that looks only for one trigger method and activates Animaze Chatpal via the Animaze API. This way you can leave Global Keys off in Animaze.

Cheers!
