The advanced tracking settings are there specifically for you to tune the expression response to each of your face motions/emotions. Automated calibration is just "training wheels" on a bicycle, it gives you a fast and easy starting point, but will not help you with high-performance.
You can custom-map the animation range to your face motion range using the UI.
Then save the custom settings to a custom tracking profile and just use that instead of auto-calibrating.
