Still cooking! It's a big priority but keep in mind development is mostly just me with some part time help from Loth. I'm trying to balance new content with multiplayer work (new content patch is coming soon too).
This is exciting! The wife is interested in the game too, but only if she is playing with me so I can help her get used to the game. We're really looking forward to multiplayer. What sort of new content is coming in that content patch?
- Enemy attacking has been totally reworked (I talked about it in the latest steam event update). I go over it in some detail here: https://steamhost.cn/news/app/1383150/view/4222769301362483587?l=english
- Added ability to add Map Markers to the map
- New railgun weapon: a large railgun that can be affixed to your ships that does massive damage in a line
- Laser turrets no longer use fuel
- New capacitor structure that holds electrical charge that turrets and railguns use
- New Oracle shop items: player action range (so you can click stuff further away), and player vacuum range (so research and ore will get sucked up from a further distance)
- Some QOL stuff
- Ui improvements
I'll make an official post soon with all the details!
its been 1 year, coop when?
- Implemented a whole new test case framework to aid with testing determinism in particular to prepare for multiplayer
20th of march 2025 - still coocking.
Don't worry, it's coming!
