Might be out of the scope of the serie unless it gets more funding in the future. Also I feel like this game recently came out so it's a bit early for a sequel

I wish they came out with a new game since there's no more developer support. There's only so much mods can do

It's such a great game. The one problem is foreign relations don't really have much use. Id love to see wars and their economic impact

I'd love if Positech Games bought the rights to the Superpower franchise and blended the two. It's not like Golem Labs is doing much good with it.

When Democracy 5 does become a thing, Party should be more then just a name, it should have a set of values and won't just go along with every policy to try to implement.

Democracy 4 was a staggeringly hard game to make. I really need to have a long lie down and a stiff drink before attempting to do another one :D.
Also politics is even MORE divisive now than when I first started work on Democracy 4. I really wouldn't enjoy making a game that included some of the policies that people talk about now, or even try to implement. Everything is seemingly in chaos.

Turning this game into some kind of geopolitical game would definitely be very interesting, but probably also very hard. But for what it's worth, if democracy 5 just means Democracy 4 with fully fleshed out foreign nations, diplomacy and an interactive map, I would be willing to pay 100 euros for that.

Take your time man. (Though please add politics, I won't be able to sleep at night knowing that Democracy 5 doesn't have diplomacy )

Perhaps people would like to run modern politics. If you're burnt out though, you deserve that retirement
