Everything is insanely bright!
I just downloaded this game and installed it on my Steam Deck. When I launched it, everything was super bright and saturated to the point I could barely read anything. The mission select screen is totally white besides the mission outline. I tried turning down the brightness, bloom, contrast, and saturation settings, but it just made it seem very dark and not normal. Is there a fix for this? Thanks!

Sorry for the problem. It's possible there's a bug with HDR rendering being turned on when it shouldn't. Will provide an option to disable it (in case it's on) in the next update.

Do you guys have the new Steam Deck (OLED)? I have the old one and don't see the brightness issue.

Yes I am using the OLED version.

Ok, added an option to disable HDR in 1.04. Try that and let me know if that doesn't fix the issue.

It looks incredible bright and washed out. Sadly the „allow HDR“ option is activated but grayed out, so I can‘t disable it. What can I do. I don“t want do disable my HDR in Windows every time I start the game.

Sorry for the brightness issue. Will get a bug fix out for that tomorrow morning. There should also be a brightness slider that's not showing up.

[Minor coding discussion follows...]
Definitely having regrets about using multiple branches to do console ports for Instruments, as merging/splitting the branches has caused more problems than anything else in the last year. We changed to no branching (one codebase) for Fireball 2 and other games, and that has worked out much better.

Ok, version 1.12b fixes the HDR issues, and a sandbox mode UI issue.

Let me know if it is still washed out with no way to change it in the options. Thanks!
