Terms for beginners

So I thought it would be good to put togeter a list of terms people can agree on.

If there is any intereat in this thread then I will keep editing it to add peopl's input.

I will start with some:

coffin - (or coffin mrch) the starter mech
Railgun - the third row kinetic weapon, might be better described as a coil gun based on the description in engineering.
BFG - I don't know what this is, honestly.

Any others?

historically BFG stands for two things, Big Friendly Giant... and Big F'ing Gun... my guess is that its the second one lol

Are these...jargon people actually use for the game? Or are you just trying to arbitrarily conjure it into being?

BFG stands for the Particile Emitter, the third explosive weapon which you unlock by completing one of the special missions.
I believe the monicker comes from Aavak, a Youtuber which recently posted a playthrough of the game,

I am old enough to remember the origional(1993) Doom's use of the term "BFG". I had seen it mentioned in a few places on the forums and in discussions but I just have not run into anything yet that fit the description ingame.
