I have watched someone play this, and from memory, it seems the learning curve is extremely steep.

Would it be an idea to have one or more advisors that basically put out suggestions of what to do, if you click on them? Even the most basic things, maybe even comment on your mechs.

I feel it would be a nice compromise between keeping the current interface, but also giving helpful tips for those that want it.
