It seems the centipeda boss, Did you go inside a labyrinth and found it there? In the manual,
and in the legend of the game map it is stated that this biome is much harder than the rest of the game, thus it is heavily implied you should leave labyrinths only for when you are much better experienced.
You absolutely do not have to face these missions at the start of the game, if you find a labyrinth which blocks the path of your city the best solution is to go around it.
-there is no Colubra (the worm thing rotating like a turret) to kill;
-on the right part of the display a map of the labyrinth is presented, with colored squares indicating enemies and empty zones.
You are supposed to be able to kill Colubra at the beginning of the game, that's how you clear basic tiles
In non-infected zones it rotates with a big circle showing its view range, you can attack it from behind and it won't attack back
The tiles on the map play by minesweeper rules, number corresponding to a total amount of enemy bases around the tile (including the tile the number it's on)
0 | 1 | 2
0 | 1 | 1
0 | 0 | 1
If you get unlucky and get into a mission with a base on it, it's better to retreat early game, as it's too much of a challenge to tackle with starting mechs and weapons, you can try doing them later on when you feel more confident in your abilities or nuke them once that option becomes available
edit: it seems every map there is a white orb flying around and a toranado?
I guess you went to one of the circles on the map? those are special missions with special rewards, very good to complete them as soon as possible
Double click to return the mechs to the mission. They will do what has to be done. To retreat click the retreat knob and now double left click will tell them to retreat.
As for that mission, you went to some structure, some people went out on trucks and now follow you. Isn't it obvious they want to follow you back to the city?
