Does Your Mechs Armor Get Shredded?
For clarification, I know that when you attack enemies that have high armor values, with weapons that have low armor pen, you will slowly chip away at the enemies armor value.

Can the same be said vice versa? If my mech has, lets say, 200 armor, will I ever have to fear an enemy with physical damage of 1?

Yes. Your armor will be damaged by small amount. Also with each received attack, your mech temporarily loses some stability which affects passive armor value by percentage.
There should be some info about it in the manual after the weapon damage types.

What is the difference between a layer of
5553 and 1111 if both add up the same amount of total armor??

(Assuming enemy damage of 5)

If different armor compositions add up to the same amount of armor points, they protect your mech in the exact same way.
The difference between them in that case is their cost and production time in the component factory, and/or their weight.
