Brucus Turrets (Min / Max Range Bug)
Min/Max range appears not to apply to Brucus Turrets... Resulting in invincable taunting dummys for <6 penetration ballistic weapons (<15 on water maps).

They pose little/no threat as a damage dealer, but frequently cause early game chaos by baiting / turning my mechs from the fight until an enemy enters 2x melee distance to become a priority.

There is an icon that looks like a Brucus Turret in the weapon engineering UI, it appears to do nothing for the Brucus' Cacoon turrets.

Am I missing something or is this just an early access issue?

It is no fix to the real problem, but did you know that you can set a target manually by pressing mmb? Maybe this helps circumvent the issue.

Yep, it's a bug. They should apply min/max range for turrets, but it seems like AI overrides it because they prioritize them as a high threat when close enough.
