Please clarify that Enemy Armor Damage is Temprory
As far as I can tell it isn't explicit in the manual or UI that the explosive armor reduction is temporary.

I.E. that (1 + pen) / 10 only lasts for 1 second or so

It also isn't clear whether ballistic armor reduction is temporary. An extended test (ballistics vs Caecilia) makes me think it is.

Given the extremely minor armor reduction from ballistics (in the weapon test interface) it's intuitive that the reduction would persist.


I have no idea whether player armor reduction (being nibbled on) is temporary, assuming it is good Strike Plate is much more useful.

Player armor loss is permanent. It is refreshed between missions, but can otherwise not be repaired (drones only repair damage points and cockpick breaches, no armor or system damage).
As soon as you fight a boss battle you will have a health bar as well as an armor bar (where you can clearly see that both refill at different rates).
I did not know that armor regen also applies to smaller enemies, but I feel like if that becomes a problem, you are not bringing (effective) enough anti armor tools with you.

Most enemies have a small armor and health regeneration.
