Why are only some bridges/obstacles repairable, while others are permanently blocked/destroyed?
What is the gameplay purpose in only allowing some bridges/obstacles to be repaired, while others aren't? I understand the initial difficulty when players first arrive onto a destroyed map, but they should be given more options to repair bridges and remove obstacles as they progress throughout the map.

Coming back from Roadcraft, I've realized how much artificially slower SnowRunner's gameplay is, simply because the game forces you to go through the same muddy area or take a long detour across the same map, over and over again, all because you aren't given the option to fix the route.

IMO, every major obstacle should be repairable by the player, if the corresponding materials are brought to the site. Having to struggle over and over across the same patch of terrain gets stale and boring real quick.

Before anyone says "It's a offroad game, you're supposed to get bogged down all the time", realize that all of the repair contracts would be optional side quests, there's no requirement to do them. Also, while some might enjoy trudging through the same terrain, others want to optimize their routes as much as possible.

because the tender for repairing these bridges was won by another company. If seriosly - you just said it yourself - It's a offroad game, you're supposed to get bogged down all the time
You're playing Snowrunner, not Roadcraft. It's an offroad game, you're supposed to meet challenging conditions and beat them, not drive on a freshly paved road

Going through a swamp or snowbank the first few times is interesting and fun, having to go through the same one multiple times for a multi-cargo mission is frustrating and boring. I'd rather repair them instead.

Is it not fair to "beat" them by repairing the bridge/obstacle? This gameplay mechanic already exists in-game, I'm just asking for it to be implemented on a broader scale so it applies to ALL bridges and obstacles.
You're supposed to learn and optimize the map, not completely bypass it. There are shortcuts everywhere, some can save you 30 seconds, others will save minutes, and that's your job to find them and use them.
Agreed. There really are no payoffs for hours spent on many of the maps. You waste your time going from one side of the map to the other at a snails pace, complete some tasks/contracts and that's it. Rebuild factories, power stations, launch rockets, but clearing a mere roadblock, or repair bridges like on other maps.......nope. Just turn off your brain and consume product.

There is so much inconsistency between the different maps. Either apply a game mechanic to all of the maps or remove it entirely.
