Can i buy dlc for a friend? ( Answered )

i love snowrunner, wanted to buy it when its a discounted price. My friend recently bought one or his birthday and ended up not liking the game and saying that i can borrow my friend's account to play snowrunner since he knows i loved the game.

Played it for 300 hours and the game completed!!
Now i wanted to buy a dlc, but i remembered that the game is registered in my friends account, can i gift my friend's account a dlc in snowrunner?? or should i own a snorunner in the first place too?? and if we can gift our friend a dlc, does it even work?

Yes, most times you can as long as the recipient owns the base game. Make sure you choose the purchase as a gift,, You can also gift friends Steam Gift Cards if it won't let you purchase the DLC as a gift.
