Option 1
Single player mode is designed so that you can play together with friends on your map over and over again. Activating single player mode blocks access to other players. ( But they will be shown as online )

Option 2
If you want to play offline, disconnect your internet connection or switch to offline mode with your Steam account.

Select offline mode in the game when you create or load a save game.
