French troops in the Franco Prussian war sect using an italian rifle
When I first played the Star fortress campaign, I noticed that the French troops are using the 1870 italian Vetterli Vitali and not the Chassepot, forgive me but this really dissapointed me because the Prussians look like they're using the Dreyse which is their own weapon meanwhile the French are not using theirs.

Also one more thing, can you make the Franco Prussian war weapons usable for players? using the bolt action rifle or the musket while playing in the Franco prussian wars dont fit right.

Yeah, I noticed that too. For a second, I thought I was either tripping balls or it was just some other obscure french infantry rifle that was also commonly used at the time, but it was indeed one-to-one with the Italian breech-loading rifle, the Vertelli-Vitali, which I guess could have been leased to the French (somehow, as if Italy didn't support the Prussians and NGC,) but that would be near nonsensical.

The dev said their working on player-equippable FPW rifles already, but it seems they've relegated that as a low-priority addition to be added later, likely after the tank update they're speaking of.

If your looking for more accurate guns for the Franco-Prussian war, I would suggest using the revolver and musket from the US civil war mod. The musket works more like a Martini Henry rifle than a musket and the revolver looks similar to those used by the French officers. Its not perfect, but its what I use.

Btw these are player weapons, your out of luck with the npc weapons
Its not the 1870 italian Vetterli Vitali its a weapon on its own cant find any that would match its got a weird internal magazine like a Winchester Model 1873.
