Controller feedback
Been playing the game on steam deck and enjoying it quite a lot. Runs well and controls, for the most part, feel good (even great for a budget title). But there are two major things that could be improved for controller users like me:

1) The implementation of weapon wheel would improve controls greatly. Another way is to copy the original Quake Remaster where they used d-pad and assigned 2 weapons for each direction, sorting them by category (shotgun and super shotgun in one category etc.)

2) The aim assist is appreciated but feels way too strong. The option to turn it off or/and adjust its strength will be more than welcome.

I recently played illWill on the Steamdeck and really enjoyed it.

The weapon change wheel is a classic controller interface. It would be nice to do it, but unfortunately at the moment I'm working in the studio and I have very little time to improve the game. I’m writing down all players wishes and I’ll definitely get there someday.
The current system for changing weapons, although specific, is good in its own way. At least the weapon can be switched by pressing just one button, and not a combination like with a wheel.

I completely agree with you about aim assistance. I thought about this myself not too long ago. And this is easier and faster to do than the weapon change wheel.

This game seriously needs better controller support. Just a weapon cycle button would be a huge help.

Yeah I think full controller support would get more sales as well. With the VR support in UEVR we could make a relatively simple C++ or UE blueprint plugin to implement better controller support (at least for the touch controllers) and make a weapon wheel.
