VR working :)
FYI this works well with the upcoming Universal Unreal VR injector from praydog. Some of my test footage from the demo below:

Works with the new head aiming feature as well, the full game having better controller gamepad support helps a lot. Will be a good candidate for further motion controls I think

Some new tests with the temporal upscaling built into all UE4 games after 4.19 which improves performance when using Ultra Settings. Also turned off the grain filter with the last two lines here so just drop this in the Engine.ini file

Visiting this one again as it just had an update that improved performance and added an option to remove the film grain in the menu. Still very satisfying to play with the out of the box motion controls despite a few odd things like the crosshair (would be great if we could just turn it off completely) and no full gamepad support yet. This one will be a really good candidate for full 6DOF mod attention.

It's a miracle that it works and works so well.
Maybe I should make a special version of the game for VR.
The problem is I don't have a helm yet.

You can make a list of changes necessary for a comfortable game in VR and someday I’ll get to it :)

It’s working perfectly as it is. Will be a major feature in any trailer for UEVR I make, so hopefully you’ll get a lot more players! Only suggestion would be that it would be nice to have a button that cycles through every weapon. Even for flatscreen and a gamepad it’s hard to select every weapon.

And an in game option to disable the crosshair. But other than that it’s a great showcase on how to make something with 6DOF controls in seconds with UEVR.

Also, I launched the game via UEVR. On average settings, the 3060th is quite good. The main problem is that I'm left-handed and I need to shoot with my left hand. I can choose to bind to the left controller in the game, but how do I fire the left trigger? You cannot reassign buttons for the gamepad in the game. And although I was able to do it through the Steam input system, it doesn't work with VR controllers. I have to aim with my left hand, but shoot with my right)

How can this be solved?

Have a look at praydog’s recent GitHub updates. He’s working some universal switching for left handed to make that easier. Keep an eye on new releases. Otherwise in the meantime you can use something like steamVR bindings to switch the triggers.

in the simplest case, you can make settings for the gamepad. It worked for the "Deadlink" game. But, you can't set up the gamepad in this game, that's the problem. Okay, I'll do some more research UObjectHook today.

I bought this game and have played through the campaign twice now after seeing it featured on UEVR. It plays great in VR! I hadn't even heard of the game nor would have considered buying if not for the vr implementation that was added. My favorite UEVR game so far!

Honestly the VR mod works so well in this I am looking at picking it up next sale just for that reason alone.
