The game itself does not interact with Steam in any way when working with saves. All work with saves happens on the steam side, I just specify the list of files that need to be synchronized. If this happens, it may be a steam sync issue.
I do not deny that the problem is in the game. And I made a mistake somewhere. Perhaps if you write to steam support and they give me more information, or if you do, I can understand what's wrong.
