We just released a new version of the demo and we have done quite a few changes to the character. Check it out! We would love to hear you feedback.
The issue though is that the level itself is still hard to understand visually. There's just so much similarly colored stuff, a lot of dirt on the ground, and while I can see why the fog is necessary, it sure doesn't help with visibility either. Take Portal for example: 4 white or white walls, big red buttons, blue and orange gels... everything is clearly visible and you can focus on the puzzle.
That I feel is the main issue as of right now. Besides that, I'm not sure if it's actual physics or just better polished surfaces, but the character did indeed feel better to control.
Godspeed fellas!
We look forward to your thoughts on the final game on release!
