We do not officially support Linux, but I can try and check what causes the issue. Could you try doing the following steps:
Cheers,
I solved 1-9 again (didn't clear my current progress though, I don't know whether that's needed or not) but I don't see an Afterburn directory in ~/.config/unity3d, just a bunch for other games built on Unity. (It's set to show hidden files and folders too so that can't be the problem.) Any tip?
I know Linux is not officially supported (I do hope that maybe someday it will be) but I decided to give this game a try regardless as it looked captivating (ever since it came out on Nintendo Switch I had it in my crosshairs) and so far Proton seems to be doing its job. I can live without achievements as long as I can play the game but it was worth a shot asking here. :)
Thanks again for your time!
Okay, from what I gathered it seems like some versions of Proton have issues with enabling achievements for games developed in Unity. Which version of Proton are you currently using, and have you tried updating it to the latest release?
Cheers,
Anyway, that was the solution to my problem: I switched over from 5.13 to 6.3 and all of the previously attained achievements popped up all at once next time I started the game.
Thank you very much for your useful insights! As trivial as it may seem this step actually didn't occur to me until now.
Cheers,
