is there no way to see how controls are to work (rotate etc?)

I accidentally clicked away one of the stages where the game organically teaches you and while I am sure I can find online what that control was I realise I cannot find anywhere in-game what that was, and replaying the level does not show it again either.

perhaps there is another way and I am just missing it?
