Monsters? Yes, love them - it's great to be able to play as the (cutesy) bad guys.
Focus on actually using gems other than just 1shield a turn? I can actually have fun and utilize more than one gem.
A little bummed that not everything crosses over; there should be a character with all the units, x2 gems a turn; combine the game into one giant pile of fun.
You were playing oddly if you were using the sheild that much, I only ever had one in my inventory and most runs I dumped it.
