Definitely will think twice before supporting any future games by them.
Hi Popoffski and CeeJay,
Thanks for commenting. Perhaps you don't know, but the game was free, so no one lost anything. Those who already downloaded the free game, still have access to it in their game libraries along with any DLC they may have purchased.
As for why: Bolverk Games wants to focus 100 percent on the upcoming release of the new Glyph game for PC (non VR). We are releasing the PC demo tomorrow with Steam NEXT Fest, and I hope you'll give it a go.
Thanks again, and hope to see you at the NEXT Fest!
Hi SJD,
The VR game was free, so there was nothing to purchase, except the DLC's within the game. The VR game along with any DLCs purchased is still available to those that downloaded it before we removed the game.
Instead we have a new demo for our coming PC version of Glyph coming out tomorrow in connection with steam Next fest. Check it out. Thanks!
In summary, the VR version was removed for your own selfish reasons. You didn't have to completely prevent anyone else from trying the game or buying DLC. Also, by doing this you stopped anyone from getting the DLC who may have wanted it in the future. Or like myself, who hadn't had enough time to try the game yet so I was forced to make a quick decision on buying the DLC.
For those reasons, I'd think twice about supporting this company and advise others to beware also. It's just bad business.
Hi CeeJay!
If you're looking for discussions on and about the VR game, I warmly invite you to join our Glyph Discord. It's far more active and vibrant than the Glyph forums and rooms here on Steam.
I'm really sorry that our delisting the VR game is an inconvenience to you. Glyph VR is supposed to still be playable for those who downloaded the free game and/or purchased one or more of the DLCs.
Is your game and its DLC not working for you? Is that the problem?
We'd love to help you get it going if you cannot make it play! Find us on discord for that.
Thanks! /Rasmus
I've explained the problem multiple times and I said nothing about the game not playing.
Clearly, the developers of this game don't care so I'll be moving on now that I've said my piece.
Long story short: Buyer Beware.
"Roly-poly platformer Glyph goes 90% off on Steam in a "Hail Mary" sales move"
I don`t really play flatscreen games anymore.
But add VR support and I`ll give it a look.
I don`t understand why VR support was removed anyway.
