PSA: How to use Kettles as temperture-controlled Mash Tuns
Have you ever thought about using the Kettle as a Mash Tun as it has an electric heating mechanism that can keep your wort at exactly 65* for the entire duration of the mash?

Have you then gone to try to pour ingredients like grains into the kettle, only to receive the message "you cannot pour into this container"?

Whether this is intentional, overlooked or a bug, fear not!

Even for those who haven't experienced this issue but would like to use their kettles as mash tuns, all you need to do is:
> Pour your grains and whatever else you want in your mash to a normal brew container like a stainless steel pot
> Pick up this container and pour the contents from that into your kettle.
> Done! You have just transferred your grains into the kettle! You now have a mash tun that works at near 100% efficiency and no requirement to perform the stupid tedium of "topping up of water" to stay at 65 degrees for an hour.
> Recipes can be followed exactly the same, your kettle is just your mash tun now.

Not only did this greatly increase the consistency of producing high-quality, low-contamination beers but I'm now enjoying the game a lot more because I don't have to stuff around with the stupid process of mash tuns. There is a mash turn with what appears to be a digital thermostat - I thought finally I can use a professional mash tun that will heat and hold the desired wort temperature but upon buying it, I was extremely disappointed to see it was just a pointless digital thermometer gauge (purely info, nothing i cant get from using X-ray on the tun)
