Someone said they announced ending support for the game, but I haven't seen any such post.

And today they even posted a thing celebrating some joint package, so... someone's still got the house keys, so to speak.

Even if the rumors are true, the game seems complete as is.

Well I just bought it anyways cause it was on sale and it crashed after I just almost finished the tutorial.

I had a single crash. I think it's just unity being unreliable. I have not noticed anything in the past couple days of playing.

Played the through the first brew process with no issues.

The game works perfectly for me, with no issues at all. I even tried it on the highest settings, and it ran smoothly. I think this game is unique, so it's definitely worth trying, especially since it's currently on discount. If you're looking for something different, this might just be the perfect time to check it out.
