Intentional

SO I suppose its an intentional design decision to make pouring water OUT of a kettle as difficult as possible to do? I can overfill with ease yet can find no way to spill some out!!? WTF - how does anyone actually PLAY this FPS beer brewing mess?

Try using the micro pump, it makes getting the amounts correct much easier. You can also pour out into the sink if you have way too much in your kettle.

I also found that having a bit too little or too much (+/- 1 litre) is no big deal.
