Had that happen too, if you put the pump on the intake side. If you put it on the output side, it flows normally but does not increase the rate of temp change. You know the immersion chiller is working when the temp drop is -1.7 instead of -.5

Going to test the basic counterflow chiller to see if I can make it work. Just for grins, I tried hooking the water out to a brew pot and a mash tun to see if water was flowing through it, and I couldn't get it to flow with or without pumps at input and output of both the counterflow and into the pot/tun

It works fine to cool the wort down, but it totally leeches out the IBU like the counter flow chiller does. Please fix.
