Egg timers have been suggested a couple of times. Would be really, really handy.

The other thing I'd like to suggest is kitchen scales. I get that using the right amount of ingredients by pouring is basically the only real-time skill check that this game has, but it just seems silly that you wouldn't measure the correct amount to put into a recipe. Using kitchen scales would at least make it more involved than getting the right amount of ingredient to the gram right out of your cabinets.

Just my two cents. Really enjoying the game so far, about to enter the first competition.
