My list of suggestions
Here is a list of suggestions I haven't seen mentioned yet:

UI/Control Suggestions:
  • When viewing the Catalogue, it should indicate whether you already own an item and quantity. This will prevent the player from accidentally purchasing an item they do not need. Since you currently have to close the catalogue to check the Equipment Cupboard, this will make it more streamlined.
  • Add a sprint or run command. If the player isn't holding a liquid-filled container, they should at least be able to run.
  • Search bar and/or filter for Ingredient Cupboard and Fridge/Freezer. The more you progress in-game, the more ingredients you have and it can be a pain to sift through them. Search bar and/or filters will help speed things up.
  • Make the "Select Inventory Item #" command stow and unstow when pressed. Most games with an inventory bar, such as first-person shooters and rpgs, will holster/un-holster an item/weapon when the corresponding key/number is pressed. Having a separate key to stow an item is excessive and makes the game feel more cumbersome. I'm on 7-8 hours played and I still cannot get used to it. Additionally, tapping a number with an empty slot while you have another item is equipped should stow the item away. At this time, the it does nothing and the equipped item remains out.

Gameplay/Brew Suggestions:
  • Hop mechanics. Please add support for hop additions in all fermenters and kegs (dry-hopping), and while using an immersion chiller in the brew pot. Hops also absorb wort so you will yield less liquid the more hops you use (which can lead to a future expansion of hop extracts). Additionally, allow for smaller measurement of hops (currently the smallest unit is 5g).
  • More Lagers and cold fermentation equipment Expand on cold fermentation, more lager recipes, and fermenter chilling equipment.
  • Make yeast strain behave uniquely like in the real-world Fermentation stages and length vary for each strain. Having the player monitor/maintain fermentation and temp day-to-day will add another layer of difficulty while adding a bit more variety to each session. Currently, fermentation just feels like a set and forget it step and would be nice for it to be more.
  • More adjuncts and bourbon barrels The current hype has been heavily fruited smoothie sours and barrel aged pastry stouts. Make this happen.

Just like when you pin a recipe from the magazine and than go to the shop for the ingredients, all of your storage areas should have a "Pinned Recipe" tab that only shows you the stuff from that recipe so you don't have to continuously scroll or when a search bar is added you wont have to continuously type what you need as the pinned hops, grains etc will be right their for you to select (assuming you own them).

Also limited ingredients. Meaning you have to restock your yeast. It’s called a sim real brewer doesn’t have unlimited ingreds
