My guess - again - is that publisher really cut its costs on QA and nobody caught that (although then, the fact they OK-ed a release of the game, which literally never generates a level without a missing geometry, may also mean, they knew about it it and still decided to release it).

As a workaround, if you really want to play it do this:
- Open start and search for "Regional settings" ("Ustawienia Regionalne")
- Change the Regional format to English (United Kingdom) ("Angielski (Zjednoczone Królestwo)")

That should get you past softlock. Alternatively you can use a hack that I have made that fixes that.

And yes, this really should be fixed at this point
